Linda and Verlin: Both from Jellico Tennessee,
they were married in 1957. In between the years of their marriage to 1972, Verlin, Linda and their three children were frequently
asked to sing special songs at numerous churches as well as maintaining musical positions in their home church. In 1972, however
they officially began The Singing Weavers,
who are still ministering throughout the Northeastern part of the US.
Dennis and Chris: From the age of thirteen, Dennis has
been a important element to The Singing
Weavers. In 1985 he found the love of his life and was able to share this experience with his wife, Chris, who has
remained by his side for twenty years and an important companion of the group. God has blessed them with two wonderful
children, Alyssia and Michael, who feel the annointing to keep the family minstry alive.
Alyssia: From birth, Alyssia could always be found
in the front pew or in many pastor's laps. At the age of six, she began to sing special songs on stage. Recently Alyssia has
stepped up to the foreground to develop the lead part for the group as well as a major part in sound reinforcement on stage.
She is involved in many other aspects of the group such as beginning to write material and secretarial details for The Singing Weavers.
Michael: What can we say? Still young, a handful, and has indications of following in the family footsteps.
